BOXT Price Match Promise (the “Price Match Promise”)

The Price Match Promise

The Price Match Promise is as follows:

• If you find a Qualifying Product (defined below) cheaper elsewhere than the quote provided by BOXT; and

• Produce a Qualifying Quote (defined below)

we will beat the like-for-like price by £50. For example, if you find an exact matching quote £50 cheaper elsewhere, we’ll lower our quote by £100.  

By taking advantage of the Price Match Promise, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

Eligibility

You must have a valid quote from BOXT by accurately completing the questions about your property on our website. Your quote from BOXT is a fixed price and is active for 30 days from the date issued. 

The Price Match Promise only applies to the following:

• Qualifying Products are limited to boilers, solar panels (including with battery), electric vehicle chargers, air conditioning units (excluding multi packs), heat pumps and home battery storage installations 

• Prices from websites of retailers based in the UK selling products that must be available to purchase at the same time as the comparable product/s from BOXT (“Competitor Product/s”)

• The Price Match Promise does NOT apply to products offered for sale at auction sites, or to bankrupt stock, stock not available to be sold in the UK, marketing places or loyalty and reward schemes. In certain circumstances, quotes with government grants applied will not be matched. The Price Match Promise doesn’t apply to products with pricing errors.  

• The Price Match Promise is limited to one claim per household in any 90-day period.

How to claim

Step 1: Get a fixed-price quote from our website for a Qualifying Product, inclusive of installation

Step 2: If you’ve found a cheaper like-for-like price elsewhere for a Qualifying Product offered by a Competitor, Email [email protected] with:

• Your BOXT quote. The price referenced for the Price Match Promise will be the all-inclusive fixed price, inclusive of any promotion code or discount applied.

• A copy of the Competitor's fixed price quote (see paragraph 4 below for details)

• Your name and contact phone number

Step 3: One of our engineers will contact you to either book your price beating installation in or to discuss your claim.

Qualifying Products and Quotes

To be considered a Qualifying Quote for the Price Match Promise, the Competitor’s Quote needs to be :

• A fully itemised quotation, on a company letterhead, showing everything that is included and the total price, inclusive of delivery and installation and within the date range of the BOXT quote.  Screenshots or text messages will not be sufficient.

To be considered a Qualifying Product for the Price Promise the Competitor’s Quote needs to show the following, depending on product category. 

Boilers

• “Like-for-like” product offerings including stating the brand and type of Boiler and extras (such as a filter) with those shown on the BOXT quotation and include installation; 

• The level of warranty offered on the Boiler and would need to be “like-for-like” with that offered by BOXT as shown on the BOXT quotation; and

• The product must be brand new, not returned stock, reconditioned or second-hand.

Air Conditioning

• “Like-for-like” product offerings (excluding multi pack units) including stating the brand and type of Air Conditioning unit/s and extras with those shown on the BOXT quotation and include installation; 

• The level of warranty offered on the Air Conditioning unit/s and would need to be “like-for-like” with that offered by BOXT as shown on the BOXT quotation; and

• The product must be brand new, not returned stock, reconditioned or second-hand.

EV Chargers

• “Like-for-like” product offerings including stating the brand and type of EV Charger and extras with those shown on the BOXT quotation and include installation; 

• The level of warranty offered on the EV Charger and would need to be “like-for-like” with that offered by BOXT as shown on the BOXT quotation; and

• The product must be brand new, not returned stock, reconditioned or second-hand.

Heat Pumps

• For comparative purposes, customers should refer to the BOXT quote issued following the complimentary home survey.  This quote may vary from the quote given following the initial online survey;

• “Like-for-like” product offerings including stating the brand and type of Heat Pump and extras with those shown on the BOXT quotation and include installation; 

• The level of warranty offered on the Heat Pump and would need to be “like-for-like” with that offered by BOXT as shown on the BOXT quotation; and

• The product must be brand new, not returned stock, reconditioned or second-hand.

Battery Storage

• “Like-for-like” product offerings including stating the brand and type of Battery Storage and extras with those shown on the BOXT quotation and include installation; 

• The level of warranty offered on the Battery and would need to be “like-for-like” with that offered by BOXT as shown on the BOXT quotation; and

• The product must be brand new, not returned stock, reconditioned or second-hand.

Solar Panels (including with Battery)

• “Like-for-like” product offerings including stating the brand and type of Solar Panels, Inverter and Battery Storage (if selected) and extras with those shown on the BOXT quotation and include installation; 

  • Solar panels can be any brand but would need to be minimum 460W per panel 

  • Inverter and Battery would need to be the same brand and specifications as quoted by BOXT,

  • Would need to include fully installed fixed price, including scaffolding

• The level of warranty offered on the Solar Panels, Battery and Inverter and would need to be “like-for-like” with that offered by BOXT as shown on the BOXT quotation;

• For comparative purposes, customers should refer to the BOXT quote issued following the complimentary home survey.  This quote may vary from the quote given following the initial online survey; and

• The products must be brand new, not returned stock, reconditioned or second-hand.

Modifications

BOXT reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions, or withdraw this Price Match Promise promotion at any time. Any changes will be communicated to customers via the BOXT website or directly if an order has already been placed. BOXT Ltd reserves the right to refuse the Price Match Promise if the claim is considered be false.

Severability 

If any of these terms and conditions are found to be void or unenforceable, that term shall be deemed to be deleted and the remaining terms and conditions shall continue in full force and effect. 

Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
