"I’ve been working with Boxt from the very beginning and seen several changes along the way as the company has grown and in my opinion the changes have benefited me as a subcontractor. I’ve been a self employed heating engineer for the last 20 years and got sick of quoting jobs, surveying jobs and getting knocked for payment. And find it all in the past now as at Boxt all the stress has been taken care of.
They have an easy to use app that you can simply select your availability for install days. The jobs are always pre-inspected by the technical team so most issues can be pre-discussed with the customer before you arrive and any additional materials ordered to arrive with the pack that is delivered to site so no waiting about in the merchants.
When the job is finished you simply take photos as directed in the app and complete the relevant gas safety forms. And no invoices are need. When the job is completed on your app it automatically gets sent through to the office to be signed off and payment is authorised every Friday. Also they’ve just introduced a dedicated email address for additional materials and it’s generally authorised in 10 mins so again no waiting about .
