I was struggling to find an engineer to fit a new boiler—British Gas quoted a price that just wasn’t affordable, and local engineers either didn’t respond or weren’t available. Then I came across BOXT. Their website was surprisingly easy to navigate, and the offer of a free Hive thermostat was exactly what I was looking for. The price was reasonable, booking was quick, and when I made an error on the order, the customer service team resolved it in no time.
I also needed to change the installation date, which wasn’t a problem at all. Everything arrived on time that morning, ready for the engineer. When Darren showed up, he was friendly, professional, well-organised, and clearly very experienced.
All in all, the service from BOXT exceeded my expectations. I would 100% use them again and highly recommend them to anyone.

In a nutshell, my boiler was broken, British Gas said the parts were obsolete. Looked online at Boxt recommended by a work colleague, spoke to a friendly man on the phone. Submitted a few photos. Boiler arrived next day with lovely gentleman to fit it. Two days later amazing. Hot water on tap. Even shopped around for matching bricks to fill hole from old flue. Very professional job.

Ordered my new boiler from BOXT after a very expensive quote from British Gas.
The process with BOXT was easy, got a very reasonable quote after answering a few questions and got to choose an installation day that was less than a week that suited my shifts. After my order was proceeded I just had to take a few photos and upload them to BOXT which was very easy. I then got a text the day before my installation date from both the boiler delivery driver and the boiler engineer to let me know when they would be arriving very punctual from both. The delivery driver carried the boiler into my house for me and less than 1/2 hour later the gas engineer turned up (Chris Hindly) he was very efficient, his workmanship was excellent, left no mess and all done by mid afternoon.
I would fully recommend the BOXT process if you need a boiler replacement.
