A step by step guide to your installation

First, we'll remove and later recycle your old boiler

Next, we'll prepare your existing pipework and flue

After that, we'll assemble and position the wall fixings

We'll then fit your new pipework and magnetic filter

All pipework will be soldered and sealed

Your new boiler will then be fitted and flue connected

We'll move on to setting up and configuring your boiler

Your system will be refilled before testing commences

An emissions test is then carried out

To ensure maximum efficiency, we'll flush your new system

We'll then set up your controls and show you how to use your new system

All necessary certificates are then completed and available in our 5-star rated App

Yes, we'll need a little help from you to make sure everything goes smoothly on the day.

Before your installer arrives, clear away any clutter around the boiler – especially valuables and things that break easily – and make sure the boiler is easy to access.

Unless you are told differently by us, the boiler will normally be delivered between 7.30am and 9.30am on the morning of the boiler installation.

Yes - during every BOXT boiler installation, the engineer will complete a chemical flush of the full system as standard. They will use a chemical cleaning solution to break down built-up sludge, then add fresh water back into the system, which uses natural flow pressure to flush out the debris.

We also offer an upgrade to a MagnaCleanse system flush, which provides a faster and more effective system cleaning by using multiple components to remove magnetite, rust, and other build-ups in the system.

A flue is a pipe, like a chimney, that carries waste from the boiler outside. You can see your flue exit (the part of the flue that comes out of your house) on the wall or roof of your home.

Flues can either be square or round in shape.

If the flue is less than two metres off the ground, or underneath a carport or shelter, it'll be covered by a guard. This looks like a piece of wire mesh covering the end of the flu.

When you buy a boiler from BOXT, we'll also supply and fit a brand new flue for you, along with all the safety attachments you need.
