Air conditioning installation

undefined

Summer in the UK can be uncomfortable and sticky, primarily because our homes are so well-insulated and built for colder temperatures. With each summer becoming increasingly hot and our heatwaves seemingly lasting longer each year (not that we’re not complaining), we need to take extra measures to equip our homes for the warmer temperatures.

At BOXT, we get this. No one wants to sit sweating in their own home after a long day. That’s why we’re constantly growing our range of innovative, sleek yet affordable split system air conditioning units to help households across the UK take control of their home’s climate and air quality.

Rather than buying an air con unit and then realising you don’t know how to install and set it up correctly, BOXT’s units all come with professional installation included in the price. All you have to do is choose the best time slot for you, whether that’s tomorrow (for those who want AC, and they want it now) or at a later, more convenient date.

How long does it take to install air conditioning?

When left to one of our professional engineers, an air conditioning installation process at your home will be completely hassle and mess-free. The timeframe it takes to get your new air-con unit up and working is, however, largely dependent on the task at hand, such as how much space there is to work with, whether a new hole will need to be made in the wall, and more.

When getting your fixed quote, you’ll be asked several simple questions about your property’s type, size, and height, all of which helps our engineers to understand what they’re working with to provide you with an accurate timeframe. If required, one of our engineers may also give you a follow-up call with any further questions they’ve got about your home and requirements before the installation date.

How much does an air conditioning installation cost?

If you buy your air conditioning unit from a supplier online and then have to think about booking an installation separately, you should be prepared to spend around £1000 per indoor unit, adding a significant sum to an already large investment.

At BOXT, we invented our way of doing things. All our Bosch and Samsung air conditioners come with professional installation included in the fixed price, so you don’t have to worry about hidden costs cropping up. To save even more money on your installation, you can opt for a day when our engineers are less busy to shave as much as £50 off your final price. Rectangle 1.png

We also offer a range of finance options, so you don’t have to fork out a large chunk of money in one go. Our 0% APR payment plans mean you can pay for your air-con unit monthly without racking up interest.

Can you install domestic air conditioning yourself?

It’s strongly recommended to use professionals to install a new air conditioning unit, who have the expertise and experience to get the job done without any errors or unnecessary mess or disruption. Of course, some people may be able to install air conditioning themselves, but the units aren’t cheap, so if it goes wrong and your air-con unit doesn’t end up working as it should, you can waste tons of money.

We have a large team of engineers located across the UK, so if you needed your air-con installing yesterday, order before 4pm today to have the job done as soon as tomorrow. You’ll thank yourself for it when you get a pleasant and cool nights sleep, no matter the temperature outdoors.

Book an air-con installation today, for tomorrow!

All our aircon packages come with an indoor and outdoor unit, everything you need for an installation and the choice of a suitable date for us to visit you. The installer will offer advice on the best place to fit your unit, with the indoor unit usually fitted high up on the most suitable wall in your room of choice and the outdoor unit on an external wall or roof.
