Our Service Plan helps to spread the cost of an annual boiler service across the year which works out cheaper than paying for a one-off service. In addition, it ensures your boiler warranty remains valid in the case that your boiler develops a fault or breakdown within your warranty period.

An annual boiler service is needed to keep your boiler warranty valid. If something goes wrong, it's good to know that you're covered by the manufacturer and that you can get an engineer out to fix the problem as soon as possible, without leaving you out of pocket.

A yearly service by a Gas Safe Registered engineer also helps to keep boiler problems to a minimum. If you don't, there is more chance of something going wrong or your system performing inefficiently, potentially resulting in higher energy bills or expensive repairs.

Yes you can. You will still be eligible for any of our plans even if it wasn't BOXT that installed or serviced your boiler in the past. It doesn't matter who performed the installation or service as long as they were a Gas Safe registered engineer.

No you don't. Every BOXT installation comes with a 1 year workmanship guarantee and a Gas Safety certificate. You also get up to 10 year's boiler parts and labour manufacturer-backed warranty, which we'll automatically register for you.

However, it's important that you get your boiler serviced every year by a Gas Safe registered engineer - otherwise your manufacturer warranty will not be valid. So even if you don't take out a cover plan with us, remember you'll still need an annual service to protect your warranty.
